CRCC was formed to create an “edge of wilderness cabin-and-recreational” opportunity for its members. A Building & Aesthetics Regulations Committee was formed to improve and maintain the character of the Park. Before purchasing or modifying a lot within CRP, familiarize yourself with our restrictions, our policies (some linked below and all available in our Park office), and our governance (see Shangri La in the Mountains document).
You will want to pay special attention to the policies which cover topics such as:
- Clearing or cutting of trees, Policy 4410.1 – Tree and Vegetation Modification
- RVs and campers on lots, Policy 4412 – Building and Occupancy and Policy 1412 – Regulation of Properties
- Use of tarps and other covers, Policy 1412 – Regulation of Properties
- Maintenance of properties to maintain uncluttered appearance, Policy 1412 – Regulation of Properties
Also note that our committee must review/approve site plans for items such as fences, sheds, trailers, shipping contains, RVs, tiny homes.
