We will be repairing and reconnecting a water main and replacing gate valves at the intersection of Lookout Mt. Lp. and E. Cascade next week. This will be a fairly large project.
Our plan is to begin excavation on Tuesday morning 7/23 and get everything exposed for the repair.
Water will be turned off for several hours during excavation in case of hitting the mainline, to Div 1 lots 98-117, 176-189, 206-208, 213-218, and 234-241.
Water will be available from a fire hydrant near lot 175 for those affected by the outage.
Also water pressure will be lower than normal in Div 2, and the remainder of Div 1, during the shutoff, due to water being supplied from the lower in elevation wood storage tank.
There also will be a minor detour at that intersection for several days, due to the excavation.
If all goes to plan, water will be back on/normal in the afternoon of 7/23
On Wednesday 7/24, water will again be turned off to those lots and pressure lowered, starting at 10:30am, and again, if all goes to plan, water should be back on by 6pm, but could be off for as long as 3pm on Thursday 7/25.
